Sports Travel Tom is built on first-hand experience.
I’ve spent my career working in sport and media around the world — from presenting at major events to travelling independently and experiencing sport as a fan.
Along the way, I realised something.
Sport has a unique way of revealing a place.
Not just through headline events or famous venues, but in everything around them — the journey, the people, the rituals, the landscapes and the small moments that give a destination its character.

In this episode, I head inside the Hurlingham Club for the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic to find out whether this could be London's most enjoyable day of tennis.
Taking place just before Wimbledon, the event brings some of the world's best players onto one of the most intimate grass courts you'll find anywhere.
Add in the beautiful Hurlingham grounds, a relaxed atmosphere and legends tennis, this feels like a tennis event worth your time.
